ENGEL Symposium 2020 **POSTPONED DUE TO CORONVIRUS**

ENGEL HL Award
The ENGEL tie-bar-less technology opens up possibilities for more economical efficiency, flexibility and completely new process concepts – for more than 30 years.

The ENGEL HL Award will be presented again this year as part of the ENGEL Symposium 2020, and honours the technically and economically most interesting tie-bar-less applications.

The ENGEL HL Award 2020 will be awarded in three categories: 

The award ceremony will take place during the gala evening of the ENGEL Symposium on Wednesday 03 June 2020 at the Design Center Linz.

An independent jury consisting of representatives from industry, science and media will select one winner per category. The winners will receive great prizes such as vouchers for the next machine investment or discounts on training offers, the set-up of an image video, and much more.

 

Category 1. Efficient use of the mould area

Small machine with large or bulky moulds
High productivity by easy and fast mould change
Ergonomic advantages for the operator

Category 2. Innovative process integration

High part constancy due to even distribution of clamping force via force divider
PUR, LIM and MuCell applications
Multi-colour and clean room applications

Category 3. Economical automation concepts

Free demoulding movements even with large end-of-arm tools
Integration in small space, low ceiling or clean rooms
Use of smaller robots
Increased productivity by horizontal demoulding movements
