The CF-90 Colorfeed doser is a one-component gravimetric dosing unit for injection moulding machines, extruders etc. When in labour the dosing unit controls set weight at every shot (injection moulding) by using the loss-in-weight method. When used on an extruder the unit is prepared for follow-on regulation. By continuously controlling the weight of the material in the hopper the system detects any deviation from the set-point and corrects to the desired dosing capacity by adjusting the speed of the dosing screw. The dosing unit is equipped with a venturi loader (option) which automatically fills the hopper with granules when the content in the hopper is less than the preset weight. The dosing unit has an easy to handle controller with a swedish menu. The unit has an open modern design which makes it very operator friendly. A hinged motor part enables uncomplicated and quick changes of dosing screw and makes the unit easy to clean. The unit is also compact and takes little space. It is easy to install, move and fits most machine types. Dosing screws and sleeves are compatible with the previous CF-380 model and are available with or without bearing. The dosing house is made of aluminium and the hopper is stainless steel. There are different alternatives of gear boxes available and different dosing screw combinations to get the desired dosing screw combination.
