BMW Landshut puts ENGEL V-DUO INTO OPERATION
With the new vertical large-scale machine series ENGEL v-duo the manufacturer of injection moulding machines ENGEL AUSTRIA opens up new areas of application in lightweight automobile construction. ENGEL delivered a first ENGEL v-duo to the BMW Works in Landshut.

Formulated for high speed printers, our Wax/Resin ribbons provide an exceptional level of smudge and scratch resistance, at print speeds up to 305mm/sec (12 IPS). Tests have shown our Wax/Resin ribbons have greater durability than competitive ribbons. Print quality is exceptional, especially for complex label formats, logos, graphics, normal and rotated bar codes, and two-dimensional codes. Our Wax/Resin ribbons are UL-recognised. Good resistance to commercial and household cleaners and moderate steam resistance. Also available in a range of colours.

Techspan reports – ENGEL Austria will participate at the upcoming FIP 2014 in Lyon
Compact manufacturing cells, fast mould changes and flexible process integration
ENGEL’s appearance at the 2014 FIP exhibition, which takes place from 17th to 20th June in Lyon, will be focusing on tie-bar-less technology, now in its 25th year. Using a highly innovative application from the medical technology industry, the company will be demonstrating how tie-bar-less clamping units can increase production efficiency significantly.
Other highlights at ENGEL’s stand in hall 6.2 include its all-electric high-performance machines, the new CC300 control unit generation and the ENGEL plus service program. Read more
