On the 19th January 1979, Techspan Trading (NZ) Limited was incorporated
Happy Birthday Techspan – 47 years since inception.
In 1979, the late Frank John Fastnedge founded his own company in New Zealand, which he called Techspan. An importing and distribution company supplying industrial plant & machinery. Working from his basement at home, Frank poured his heart and soul into this endeavor, as he set about to acquire agencies for some of Europe’s leading plastics machinery suppliers. Early products included: Engel injection moulding machinery from Austria, Leister / BAK-AG hot air welding tools from Switzerland, and soon others followed.
Today Franks sons have continued running and growing the business, building the company into a more diverse product range.
Techspan Australia Pty Limited was incorporated in 2001, and Techspan Industrial Printing Systems was launched to supply a range of industrial printing equipment in 2000.
