ENGEL at FIP 2014 , in Lyon
Techspan reports – ENGEL Austria will participate at the upcoming FIP 2014 in Lyon
Compact manufacturing cells, fast mould changes and flexible process integration
ENGEL’s appearance at the 2014 FIP exhibition, which takes place from 17th to 20th June in Lyon, will be focusing on tie-bar-less technology, now in its 25th year. Using a highly innovative application from the medical technology industry, the company will be demonstrating how tie-bar-less clamping units can increase production efficiency significantly.
Other highlights at ENGEL’s stand in hall 6.2 include its all-electric high-performance machines, the new CC300 control unit generation and the ENGEL plus service program. Read more

A totally new control solution that still looks familiar at a first glance. “Devices like our smartphones, which we use every day, acted as the role models for developing the user interface,” reports Dr. Peter Neumann (CEO Engel Austria). “At the same time, the central control element, e-move, helps us give a feel for the machine back to the operators. With this unique combination, the CC 300 sets a new trend for the entire industry.”
ENGEL wins another contract for BMW
Techspan Group reports – ENGEL Austria wins another contract from BMW – March 2014
ENGEL duo injection moulding machines are used to manufacture car body shell component for the BMW i3 Electric Vehicle. BMWs latest order includes two large-scale ENGEL duo machine of 4,000 tonne clamp force, integrated as a double system – both machine can be synchronised to injection mould and completes two components at the same time.
